Lahore 1947 is an upcoming Hindi-language periodaction film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan.
Set against the backdrop of the partition of India in 1947, the film stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.[2][3] This film will mark the comeback of Preity Zinta after a 7-year hiatus. The film's music composed is by A.
R. Rahman.
Based on Asghar Wajahat's play Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Ni' (“One who has not seen Lahore has not been born”),[4] the film went on floors in February 2024 and was completed by August 2024.[5] Initially planned to release on 26 January 2025, it is now pushed to June 2025 due to post-production works.[6][4]
